Too Many

I saw their faces I cried their tears And everyone cried with me So many tears Too many They turned into a puddle They saw the gun barrels They cried for help And everyone cried with them So many tears Too many The puddle turned into a lake We heard their screams We smelled their fear And everyone cried with us So many tears Too many The lake turned into a sea The numbers kept climbing The bodies were lowered And everyone just cried and cried So many tears Too many The sea turned into an ocean This ocean is deep This ocean is dark This ocean is never ending But we can all swim Our future is bright And towards a light we’re sailing
